Our Pastor

Rev'd Ruth Moriarty is our minister. Having trained for Baptist ministry at Regent’s Park College, Oxford, Ruth has been minister at Poynton, Cheshire and at Woolwich, London. She is studying at Chester on the DProf programme in Practical Theology. Her current research interest is in the Church Meeting and discernment. Ruth grew up in east London and worked for the YMCA in PR and fundraising before entering ministry.

Our Deacons

Christ Church deacons oversee the spiritual and practical leadership of the church. Each deacon is elected by the church meeting. We have five deacons who care for our finances, children's and youth work, mission, outreach, prayer and membership.
